Miel in Montreal

I had an appetizer, octopus grillé and a glass of white wine... but my son paid then I didn't see if it was pricey or not. The services was friendly and fast. The setup is very cozy and comfortable. A nice little restaurant that invites to comeback.

It was good, but for the price it wasn't wow, I enjoyed but wouldn't go back

Food was great. Friendly service. Would definitely go back again. Cesar cauliflower, beef ribs were the highlight of the meal.

Food is incredibly flavourful. Service was pleasant and attentive. Price was a little over the top for what it was (small portions). Their wine list was a little disappointing.

It's a very cute place to go. It's a little pricey but it has a very cute atmosphere and great service!

Went for brunch last week, Good food, very poor quantities and no sides included... Example: 2 eggs, english muffin, smoked salmon @ 20$+ without any sides (i.e.: potatoes, fruits etc.)... not good value for the money spent... also juices not freshly squeezed and charged at the freshly squeezed price. Much better value and taste for your money in the area with other restaurants.

Why 4.2? This is nonsense. The food and service is always AMAZING. I never write reviews, but decided I needed to this time in regards to this being only 4.2. Go for it, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

One of the best restaurant in Montreal i had the chance to eat in. The food is AMAZING the setup is gorgeous and the service from the kitchen to the waiter is incredible. One of the best experiences in the city.

What a great experience we had!!!From A to Z. Food is outstanding, try the tartare/sashimi of red tuna you can’t go wrong. Every little details are in the plates. Service from Kim is simply amazing. The love the ambiance too, I wish I would lived nearby to go back there every week!Thank you to the whole team for the fantastic evening we got!

The food was good, however the portions were very tiny and expensive for what it was, we were kind of hungry after the dinner. The service wasn't the best, the waitress was really slow.

Tasty food, well presented, although they had run out of the daily special by the first seating.

4.2 rating doesn't do justice to this place. We came during the MTL à Table menu and every bite was amazing. Kim was a great hostess too, explaining in detail all the meals, coming for water and checking up on our satisfaction very often. Will definitely be returning.

The food was great. I also really like the interior design of the restaurant. The service however was a little over the top. A little too formal for the casual atmosphere, like he was trying too hard.

Love at first bite! The different flavors and textures are an absolute euphoria for my taste buds! The staff was friendly and professional. I strongly recommend the tasting menu and wine pairing. It was a beautiful display of the chefs passion and talents. Congratulations Chef Hakim Chajar and his fabulous team!

Beautiful plates to enjoy. Cooking was done to perfection. Service was nice and gentle. Location was great in a semi-quiet neighbourhood. For the upscale quality and creativity served, it was more than reasonably priced. Definitely one of the best spot in Montreal for all foodies. Even the most simple plate had a twist to it (homemade rosemary focaccia bread with olive tapenade served with the best serrano ham I tasted so far, sliced to perfection on delicate olive oil). I hope every Montrealer get to discover this place. Absolutely worth the detour (we biked all the way from east side)! Loved that the menu wasn’t too long and stayed simple, yet sophisticated, to chose from. Don’t wait and reserve already.

Wonderful experience, great food and service.

Recommend the risotto and gnocchi. Small portion sizes so you may want to order the bread with your meal. Our waiter was a bit inattentive.

Absolutely incredible! The tartar was AMAZING and the service is on point. Went there for a date and want to come back 10000%. Not cheap tho! But totally worth it

You can clearly see the effort that the team at miel have put into the customer experience. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. I highly recommend getting the prosciutto when you are there and ask about their blind tasting menu. I will definitely be returning.

This is definitely an upgrade for Pointe St Charles. The food is outstanding with great mix of flavours & Spices. Very friendly, cosy and warm! We felt like home since our first visit and was the same for the couple more times we’ve been so far. Today we came over for brunch and we were quite surprised with the menu and the quality of all the food sweet & Salty we’ve got! Will definitely come back

Reservations recommended. Small but every cute, it's more of a narrow set up that's split up into 2 sections. High end ish but reasonable prices (a main plate 23~30) .Menu is small but just enough. Split into apps, vegetarian, sea, land (dessert is memorized by the waiter/tress). We were 2 women and split a vegetarian dish, then each had our main and each had our dessert but we could have foregone dessert or split 1 (we just took it home since it was a lot). Some plates take the most basic of ingredients but play with the way they prep and/or cook in a fun way. Really great for dates and small groups, low lighting brick wall slow down, eat, enjoy type of atmosphere.

I've enjoyed this Chef's delights at a private affair catered by MIEL. This route to enjoying their fare I can highly recommend, as each stage of an 8-course "tapas" or appetizer-style extravaganza was excellent beyond question, each dish themed after a different nation at the request of the organizer. Tomorrow I plan our first visit to the resto, hopefully for a similar experience. I promise to let you know.
